Does anybody know what I could use to clean the inside of my water cooler besides bleach. I’m looking for non-toxic cleaners.
I’ve had this cooler for 2 years and haven’t cleaned through the system. I’ve surface cleaned it obviously but not inside inside. I heard you can run bleach through it to clean it but am hesitant towards doing that. Any ideas?
Also, if you could teach me how to clean the 5 ltr gallon water container. Thanks
What bleach particularly you mean? Isn’t it harmful to ingest if it contaminates my drinking water? Can I use baking soda instead?
I cleaned out my water cooler using water & bleach and I rinsed it like 6 times. My water has a very faint bleach taste now. Out of curiousity I tested my water with a pool kit i had to see what the chlorine level was and it was high (3.0). How harmful is it to drink this water?
I am thinking of adding a hydrogen peroxide water treatment system to my Home.I found some info on them but my main concern is if it is safe for drinking? Is it safe to use bleach to toilets? Is it safe to use ammonia to wash floors? The system I am looking into installing is an injection system which injects 20% hydrogen into the water lines when the well kicks in.
I need to clean my water cooler, i do not want to use bleach so vinegar is the option, but how much should i use, should i unplug it, should i try flushing it thourh hot, warm and cold spouts and how much water should i flush through?
