One of those marketing guys came to my home and offered me to check my home water quality. After everything is done he told me I have water with high mineral content (hard water). He offered to install a new ‘Kinetico’ water filtration system for the whole house for total cost of 00/-
Now I want to have a new water filtering system but I have some questions:

- Is this a good price for this system or he is ripping me off?
- What other systems are available?
- Any other thoughts?

Please help!!!!! and get the blessing from whole family :-)

Which product prohibits mineral build up in pipes and water heaters. We have very hard water here in Nevada

We live in a very hard water area and have problems with sediment in our water, we have been now been told to put one cup of Chloras (which contains sodium hypochlorite) in our water treatment filter a day. Is this water safe to drink?

I have hard water with lots of iron in it. We have a water softener to combat this. If we didn’t have the softener, our water would be orange coming out of our faucets. It’s not that good to be drinking water with the softener salt in it, especially now that I’m pregnant. What would be the best water filter for me? Should I get one that attaches to the faucet or a pitcher with a filter?
